Local report on activities done within the TRD-2D project for CBM

TRD-2D Addendum follow up (27.11.2021)

1. Reconstruction software to be ported to CbmRoot
2. Test CA track finder with the new software
3. Build the p_T spectra for the new CA tracking/additional to STS.

Regular weekly informal meetings between AB, VF and SG on Friday.

To discuss the progress at beginning of November with TC and the TRD/Soft team and take some decision.

TRD-2D @ mCBM (15.11.2021 ?!)

1. FASP reconstruction
   1. Analyze the PRF distribution on local settings (Claudiu 30.11.21)
   2. Test the new optical connection on the CROB @ GSI (Claudiu 12.10.21)
2. SPADIC reconstruction
3. Tracking (Alex)
4. ToF CR runs
   1. After CROB positive test we should join ToF runs (Claudiu, Alex 30.10.2021)

TRD-2D EDR (?!)

• Construction of a full sized TRD-2D prototype. Entrance window with AL+C fibre (Joerg, Laura, 15.10.2021)
• Tutorial for the winding machine and wire tension measurements (Cristi, Laura, George, Andrei, 30.10.2021) 
• Generate construction manual V0 with skeleton steps
• Finalize module and construction manual estimated deadline (15.02.2022)
• Local Tests of entrance window absorbtion (Fe, X-rays) (15.03.2022)
• CERN-PS tests for PID (06.2022 ???). What DAQ can be used @ CERN?
