Description

Weekly reports on local activities done for the TRD-2D project of the CBM collaboration

mCBM

Claudiu has identified the jumper configuration as a possible culprit for the problems. There is a vivid mail exchange with David to fix it. On the mCBM software part there is no new idea.

TRD-2D prototype construction

- VDuta is unavailable for the moment.

- Joerg has send the 3mm device from GSI and we are expecting it for next week.

- Laura will take full responsibility to organize Vali/Lucica to construct the entrance window with Kapton foils. ARadu is fully booked with RPC and there is no foreseeable future when he can join TRD.

TRD-2D Addendum

No progress on the Addendum tasks. The CERN-PS campaign for 2022 will be skipped by both TRD teams.

CBM software

- Chronicle lack of man-power to fulfill simulation/reconstruction tasks
