Local report on activities done within the TRD-2D project for CBM

mCBM campaign preparation

- preparation of the 2022 mCBM campaign: NEED 25 pcs FASPRO+GET

FASPRO DR1 boards. May have unknown problems (9 pcs) - to be tested on a later stage
FASPRO DR2 boards with short-cuts (15 pcs) - install FASP and then test with local acquisition
Problems with FASP-FASPRO mounting
GETS boards (25 pcs)
To discuss with Mdm Costovici (Cara/Bugi) to fix the FASPRO boards. After software testing.
Buy a new batch of chip components for the full TRD-2D (Cara - info)

status of ongoing activities

FEE for mCBM (Claudiu)

No progress on the FEE integration. CADENCE installation to be continued.

FLIM modification initiative.

Tools for building the TRD-2D prototype for EDR (Cristi)

- winding wires on big frames. steering program started and working. Tests with actual wires are ongoing in the following days.

- wire tension tool not yet tested (Cristi next week).

- to be checked consumables (technicol and blue tape) for wire winding procedure (Laura -> A Radu, Vali)

Material acquisition for the TRD-2D prototype (Laura)

- if possible the entrance window (C plate + HC) should be ordered with no mechanical details (e,g, for lateral ledges)

- if possible should be ordered already plated with Al foil !

- George started learning curve towards data analysis

- Daniel should be discussed a plan for a Master thesis on the CBM/mCBM topic (TRD-2D)

  There were two decisions:
  
  to postpone the decision on the type of sandwich we should ask from the company !
  
  to have a entrance window prototype build by R Andrei composed of a sandwich of a 9 mm HC and 2 plates of Aluminized kapton (25 um) on both sides
