Determination of characteristics of nuclear or other radioactive materials, seized in illicit trafficking, very often becomes an important part of crime investigation. Accordingly, Nuclear Forensics becomes sometimes a key part of these nvestigations. Attention to such kind of crimes and incidents began to be attracted about 20 years ago. Therefore, Nuclear Forensics is a relatively new field of knowledge and activity.
